Be Here to Love Me: A Film About Townes Van Zandt
Offering some Townes Van Zandt posters made in the day for Margaret Brown’s documentary tear-jerker, “Be Here To Love Me”.
Worth a watch, it can deepen your experience of his songwriting.
If he’s news to you, then listen to “Flyin' Shoes” or “Snake Song”. If that don’t win you over, then you sure won’t want this poster.
There are four versions of it. At the director’s behest, I'd print batches when needed for festivals. I kept back 10 of each.
Each edition is pretty identifiable, e.g. 1st has a printing credit missing, 2nd is creamy tan, 3rd is tan, 4th is a buttery yellow, and the blue Marfa Edition.
Cheers,
RJ
